We would like to invite students who are personally affected by the war in Ukraine, including students from Russia and the region to join this meeting, where they can share concerns and questions with representatives of the Faculty of Humanities, Student Support Services and the Diversity Officer of the University, Aya Ezawa.
Our primary focus will be the well-being and support of students who are personally affected. We have received several concerning signals and would like to provide a forum, community, and support in these difficult times. As in last week’s meeting, we can share advice, information, and connect you with others who share your concerns.
If you are interested in joining, we recommend registering (so that we know how many participants to expect), but this is not required.
Registration formPlease contact the study advisor, programme board, or supervisor with any questions or concerns. You can also always reach out to the D&I Expertise Office with questions related to diversity and inclusion: diversiteit@leidenuniv.nl.
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia has undoubtedly had a deep impact on our students and staff, in particular those with a personal connection to the region. The Universities of the Netherlands strongly condemn the invasion and are committed to offer necessary support to students and staff affected by these events.
