In te early 1970s, down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed in a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement.
Join Paul van Trigt and Fresco Sam-Sin for a screening and discussion of Crip Camp, a documentary about a groundbreaking summer camp that mobilised a group of teens with disabilities to help build a movement, forging a new path toward greater equality.
The film screening and discussion is organised in the week of the D&I Symposium of Leiden University, as part of the programme. The D&I Expertise Office and the Faculty of Humanities of Leiden University have joined forces for this year’s edition of the Leiden University D&I symposium: Language, inclusion and belonging.
