Valedictory lecture

Leiden University and the Leiden Bio Science Park can make a significant contribution to the earning capacity of the Netherlands. This is the finding of the National Investment Agenda presented today.

Onlangs organiseerde de afdeling Ondernemingsrecht in samenwerking met het tijdschrift Onderneming en Financiering het symposium Duurzaamheid en Ondernemingsrecht. De opkomst was een bevlogen groep juristen en ondernemers met hart voor het onderwerp.

Herman Paul (professor of History of the Humanities) has been elected a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). He will be officially installed on 30 September.

It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of our former colleague professor Herman Schaper on Tuesday 30 November this year. Herman held the Pieter Kooijmans Chair in Peace, Law and Security at Leiden University from 2014 to 2017.
