De masteropleiding Cultural Analysis: Literature and Theory van de Universiteit Leiden richt zich op de studie van literatuur vanuit een vergelijkend en theoretisch perspectief, en onderzoekt de literatuur van een breed spectrum van talen en culturen uit de hele wereld.

Het centrale doel is de systematische bestudering van verschillen in criminaliteitspatronen en sociale controle tussen migranten en niet-migranten in het vroegmoderne Frankfurt am Main.

African oral literatures, new media and technologies: challenges for research and documentation

In het voorjaarssemester biedt het NIMAR universitaire en hbo-studenten twee engelstalige tracks van 30 EC. Bij beide tracks ligt de focus op het bevorderen van taal- en linguïstische vaardigheden, maar de tracks bieden ook een diepgaande kennismaking met de Marokkaanse cultuur en samenleving.

In de masteropleiding Italian Literature and Culture kun je alle aspecten van de Italiaanse literatuur op gevorderd niveau bestuderen, van de middeleeuwen tot nu.

De masteropleiding German Literature and Culture van de Universiteit Leiden biedt het grootste aantal Duitstalige mastervakken in Nederland, en omvat literatuur en cultuurstudies van de middeleeuwen tot het heden.

Ontwikkel je kennis van het Frans en Franstalige literatuur en genres met de masteropleiding in French Literature and Culture van de Universiteit Leiden.

De eenjarige, Engelstalige masteropleiding in English Literature and Culture richt zich op de interactie tussen literatuur en belangrijke politieke en sociale kwesties als identiteit, migratie, geheugen en de metropool, maar ook tussen literatuur en de literaire traditie, en literatuur en film.
