Hoe kan data science de Belastingdienst verbeteren? Mark Pijnenburg, senior data scientist bij de Belastingdienst, besloot om dit in een proefschrift te onderzoeken. Hij vertelt over zijn ervaringen: ‘Soms is een techniek wetenschappelijk gezien interessant, maar niet toepasbaar in de praktijk.’
