Last week Field School 1, a course in which all our first year students are being trained in the basic excavation skills, has started.
This Field School takes place in an excavation in Oss which is carried out by Archol.
All are cordially invited to visit the excavation and the Field School on the Open Day on June 17th.
Location
Gewandeweg 100, Oss.
This is a 30 minute walk from Oss West train station (Oss West also has OV-bikes).
In case of traveling by car, you can park at Gewandeweg 100. Please note that parking options are limited. Car pooling is advised.
Please note that transportation to the excavation will not be arranged by the Faculty.
What to bring
- Comfortable shoes/boots;
- Depending on the weather: rain gear, sun screen, some protection for your head
- Your own lunch, drinks and snacks (if needed)
- Hay fever medication (if needed)
