Are you a master's student, PhD candidate, junior or mid-career professional and are you interested in working at an international organisation? Join this event on Thursday 16 May, from 17.15 to 19.00.

This event will be hosted by Jean-Pierre Kempeneers, Chief Corporate Affairs and Senior Vice-President at Nexperia, diplomat/Ambassador from 1995-2024, and member of the advisory board and alumnus of Leiden University.

  • How to find a position as a junior?
  • Which organisations and how to find them?
  • What type of positions are offered?
  • How to network if you don't yet know anyone within an organisation?
  • Are there things to focus on in your CV or motivation letter to improve your chances?
  • How can you stand out?

There will, of course, be ample time to ask all your questions! Registration is not necessary.

Jean-Pierre is Nexperia's Chief of Corporate Affairs, a position that includes Public Affairs, Communications, and Digital Marketing. He previously worked for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs starting in 1995, with an intermezzo as Head of the Royal Philips EU office in Brussels, from 2014 to 2016. Jean-Pierre was Ambassador for international positions for six years and was posted to the Dutch Embassies in Vienna, Tel Aviv, the Dutch permanent representation to the United Nations in NYC, Warsaw, and Port of Spain. He holds a master's degree in Law from Leiden University.
