Programme

Vacancies & skills
Step 1: How to find jobs
Let’s start with the basics: where are all the jobs
hiding?
In our first Cap to Career Days workshop, we’ll
help you crack the code on finding vacancies;
from clever Google tricks to insider tips on reading
between the lines in job posts. You will also learn
how to match your skills to what employers are
actually looking for. Spoiler: you probably have
more relevant experience than you think.
Tuesday
August 26th
11:00-12:00
(CET)
CV & Motivation Letter
Step 2: How to react to
jobs
Found an interesting job? Great! Now let’s make
sure you stand out.
In this session, we will walk you through making a
strong CV and writing a motivation letter that does
more than just repeat your resume.
Wondering if you should include that volunteering
stint at the dog shelter? Or how to talk about your
study abroad experience? We’ll cover it all and
help you turn your story into something that
recruiters will remember.
Wednesday
August 27th
11:00-12:00
(CET)
LinkedIn & Networking
Step 3: How to connect
with professionals
Your online presence matters even more than you
think.
Whether your LinkedIn profile is a blank page or a
perfect mirror of yourself, this workshop will help
you build it into a real digital handshake.
You will learn how to grow your network, connect
with people in your field, and (just as important)
what to do once you have made those
connections.
Thursday
August 28th
11:00-12:00
(CET)
Job Interview
Step 4: How to talk
yourself into the job
You made it to the interview! Exciting, but also a
little nerve-racking.
This session is all about interview prep: what
questions to expect, how to make a great first
impression, and how to confidently talk about
yourself (without sounding like a robot).
Even better? You’ll get the chance to practice in a
safe, supportive setting.
Friday
August 29th
11:00-12:00
(CET)
Walk-in Hour
Step 5: The finishing
touch
Still have questions? Need some one-on-one
advice? During our walk-in hour, you can talk
directly with our career advisors about anything
from fine-tuning your CV to figuring out your next
move.
Whether you joined all the workshops or just one,
you’re welcome to drop by and chat.
