Turning Experience into Story
For whom
The course is suitable both for beginners and for those who already write but are looking for fresh inspiration, momentum, or feedback.
Content
What makes a personal story engaging to read? How do you turn a memory into a vivid scene? How do reflection, perspective and detail inform experience?
In this course, we explore how everyday moments can be shaped into a compelling story. The ins and outs of an ordinary life are a goldmine
Through guided writing exercises, we explore how memories and reflections can be transformed into narrative using voice, scene, conflict, and perspective.
During the sessions, we will write and explore how memory can take shape on the page. There will also be opportunities to share work, receive feedback, and gradually build confidence in your writing.
Rather than focusing on perfection, the course encourages experimentation, curiosity, and discovering your own voice on the page.
If you enjoy journaling, you’ll feel at home in this course. If you’re curious about writing but don’t know what to write about, this course will give you practical tools and structure. If you struggle to make space for writing in a busy life, you’ll learn how to develop a sustainable writing rhythm.
