Workshop

Professional networking is the process of purposefully making and maintaining contact with people or groups who are, or could be, of importance to you in achieving your goals. A good way of gaining information about interesting job positions and employers. In this workshop you will experience some networking and you will get the chance to build and practice your pitch with another student.

The workshop could help you preparing yourself for network events as well as to learn how to present yourself to others in general. Besides experiencing some networking and building your pitch, during the workshop you will also learn how networking could be used when you don’t know yet what you want.

Would you like to know more about networking and how this could help you in finding (out more about) a suitable career? Then this workshop might be of your interest!

This workshop is free of charge and available to all Bachelor and Master students and recent graduates of Leiden University. Note: In contrast to last semester, this workshop can now be followed by students from all faculties and study programmes.

The workshop will take place online via Kaltura. If you register for the workshop, you will receive further details and a link to the Kaltura room a day before the event at the latest. Please note that there is a limit of 70 students for this workshop.
