Course and exam enrolment
You can enrol for courses and exams via uSis or your faculty's education administration office.
Take a look under your faculty or study programme tab for further information. If you have any questions, please contact your education administration office.
Registering and deregistering for interim examinations
It is very important for us to know how many students will participate in an exam, in order to arrange the exam forms, hall capacity, invigilators etc. Biomedical Sciences students always have to register for exams via uSis. The study advisor and course coordinator are not authorised to register students for an exam.
When can you register?
You can register until 10 days before the date of the exam. The final closing dates for registration are published in the exam schedule on the ‘roostersite’ and on Blackboard in the Onderwijszaken BW module.
How to register for an exam
- Register for the exam via uSis. You will receive a confirmation email and can immediately check if you have registered. If you register for an exam for which you are not authorised, the registration will be annulled by the Student Administration.
- Check the list of candidates that is published in the Blackboard module ‘DOO voor Biomedische wetenschappen’ two days before the closing date. Are you not in the list? You can still register until the official closing date via uSis.
- Not registered for an exam? The final list of participants is published on Blackboard after the final closing date. If you have not registered, you will be denied access to the exam. If you do take the exam your grade will not be valid and counts as an attempt.
Result of an exam not available ten days before a re-exam?
In some cases the result of an exam is not yet known 10 days before the re-exam. These exams will have different deadlines for registration.
Deregistering for an exam
You can deregister for an exam via uSis until the closure of registration. After the closing you can deregister by sending an email to the study advisor (not the course coordinator) where you describe your reasons for not participating. Deregistering after the closing is only possible in the case of special personal circumstances.
Please address questions about registering and deregistering for exams to the student administration.
