The university’s Wi-Fi network is eduroam.
Wi-Fi via eduroam
At Leiden University you can surf the internet wirelessly on the eduroam Wi-Fi network. All data sent via eduroam is encrypted. You can also access Wi-Fi at many other higher education institutions in the Netherlands, Europe and further afield via the eduroam network.
Logging into eduroam
To log into eduroam, whether you're at Leiden University or elsewhere, you must enter your user name + @vuw.leidenuniv.nl. Your user name is a lower case letter s, followed by your student number. So, for example, s1234567@vuw.leidenuniv.nl
