Study association Emile

Emile is the study association for all students of Pedagogical Sciences and the Academic Pabo of Leiden University. Emile is the link between the students, the study and the practice.

Discount

Study association Emile has a boardroom in room SB05 in the FSW. Here you can drop by in between a lecture or work group for a chat, tea and cookies or just to hang out. You can also come here with all your questions about your study and other matters, such as the book and summary sale. As a member of Study Association Emile you also get a discount on your study books! In the discount period you get 10% discount on Dutch books and 5% discount during the rest of the year. The discount on English books is 15% all year round. If you order your books from Emile for one semester (half year) you will usually have saved your membership fee! Reason enough to become a member of Study Association Emile!

Activities

Every year several study-related activities are organized, like lectures, workshops and excursions. With Emile you come in contact with many different students! Study association Emile also organizes drinks, parties and (study) trips. Especially for the first year students there is a First Year Weekend every year in September. This is a nice camp where first year students can get to know each other!

Becoming a member

All activities are organized by active Emile members. Would you like to organize activities with a group of students, like a symposium, party or study trip?
