Apply for the Master Archaeology before June 15th
If you are currently a BA student Archaeology at our Faculty and wish to start the Master Archaeology in September, you have to apply in time. This is the procedure:
You start your application via Studielink by registering for the MA or MSc Archaeology. After a few days you will receive login details for the online application portal in uSis, where you can submit your application. If you are applying for an RMA or RMSc, apply for the MA/MSc as well, to ensure you a place in the MA/MSc in case you are refused for the RMA/RMSc.
15 June is the absolute deadline for submitting your application in the online application portal. If you missed the deadline because you are waiting for login details, please contact the admissions officer.
If you have done a BA programme at the Leiden Faculty of Archaeology, you do not need to send in reference letters, a language test or diplomas.
The Admissions Office will be informed by the Faculty when you have obtained your diploma. If required, you can upload this model letter (don't forget to supply your own details).
For more information on the admissions procedure, first choose your desired MA/MSc specialisation, and then click on "Admission and Application" on the left side of the page, to open the pages on admissions requirements, deadlines, required documents and the application procedure.
If you are not sure yet about your focus area choices, just apply for what you think is the best option at this moment. Your choices can still be changed at the start of the programme, in consultation with the study advisor.
See the RMA Application and Admission page for the RMA procedure.
