World Press Trends Database: data on the newspaper industry world-wide
Which newspapers are popular in Peru? How many residents of Jordan have access to the internet? How many journalists are working in Japan? The World Press Trends Database (WPTD) answers these and many more questions!
For each of more than 70 countries and territories, a broad range of annual data includes elements such as the number of titles and circulation, advertising costs and income, sales revenue, number of journalists and employees, salary costs, and costs for newsprint. The database is published by the WAN-IFRA, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers.
