New Director of Operational Management at the Faculty of Archaeology
On 1st January 2020, Suzy Sirks-Bong moved over to the Faculty of Humanities. Suzy had been supporting Humanities for two days a week since September 2019, in the area of business operations, and was invited by the Dean of Humanities to work full-time at the Faculty on a number of weighty dossiers.
In a joint decision, the Executive Board of the university and the management of the Faculty of Archaeology, have decided that Suzy’s former position at FdA should initially be filled temporarily. Jacqueline Schut, currently working in the same position for the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs (FGGA), has agreed to take on the interim position at FdA. She will also continue to work for FGGA and will divide her time between the two faculties. Jacqueline has recently started. An introduction round with the employees of the faculty will follow.
The Faculty is grateful to Suzy for her hard work, and for the valuable contribution she made to the FdA community over the last three years.
We wish both Suzy and Jacqueline every success in their new positions.
Dean, on behalf of the Faculty Board
