Join the Student Support Groups
In the online Student Support Groups you can participate and receive support as well as offer support and collaboration to fellow students. A quick overview on what these groups can offer you during this corona crisis situation and how to become a member.
We’re in this together: support and collaboration
We are going through an international health crisis which is affecting our lives on a daily basis. We must stay inside (as much as possible), avoid social contact and the classroom is now completely virtual. We don’t know how long it will take and how we will proceed after. But we do have each other and our common experiences. That’s why the POPcorner in collaboration with other student support facilities launches online student support groups.
- Are you feeling isolated, lonely, anxious?
- Are you looking for structural support through this Corona time?
- Do you want to form new connections with fellow students?
Join in! All students are welcome!
Support, personal goals and sustainable interaction
Each group consists of five students, one member of support staff and one student contact (an active member within an existing student network). Our aim: form sustainable support networks through these difficult times. We can get through this together! In weekly one-hour meetings we discuss how everyone is doing, we set personal goals for the coming week and we talk about topics which are of interest to the members of the group. Between these meetings you are in touch with at least two members of your group to discuss your personal goals for the week. The student contact is available for questions during the week as well. Groups are free to schedule more get-togethers.
How to apply
Students from all programmes in Leiden and The Hague are welcome to join. To register and to receive more information, send an e-mail to email@example.com.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
