LUC Corona Update: Partial Lockdown to continue

18 November 2020

This week we saw two new infections with covid-19 among the student body. Both are not living at AvB and are currently isolating, and have informed their contacts.

Infections slowly going down

Nationally and in The Hague, the number of infections is slowly going down. The government has announced yesterday that the partial lockdown will continue. As from today, it is allowed to receive max 3 visitors at home, and be outside in groups of max 4 people. Group sports lessons may resume. Face masks must be worn in indoor public spaces and inside the university. Restaurants and bars will remain closed for the moment. All non-essential travel is not allowed until mid-January.

Coronamelder App

As from 1 December, it will be possible to get tested even if you do not have symptoms. For example, if you get a notification from the Coronamelder App, or if you are a close contact of an infected person. People who test negative will not have to quarantine for the full 10 days.

If you receive a positive test result, please report this using this form
