Get vaccinated: no appointment needed!

21 July 2021

As a current or new student of Leiden University, you can now drop by the municipal health service (GGD) in Leiden, Alphen a/d Rijn or Gouda to get a vaccination against COVID-19.

You will be given the Pfizer vaccine. When you visit for your first vaccination, you will also make an appointment for the second vaccination.

Who is it for?

All current and new students of Leiden University are welcome, including students from The Hague.

Not for those who are part-vaccinated

The drop-in location is not intended for students who have already been part-vaccinated. This means you can't drop by for your second vaccination without an appointment.

  • Leiden: Haagse Schouwweg 10
  • Alphen a/d Rijn: President Kennedylaan 1
  • Gouda: Heuvellaan 1

  • From Monday to Friday from 08.00-13.30 hrs.
  • On Saturday and Sunday from 09.00-14.30 hrs.

When you drop by, don't forget your facemask and your valid ID!

Do it now!

After the vaccination, it takes your body two weeks to produce enough antibodies. Get vaccinated straight away so that you are as well protected as possible before you join the introduction week or start your programme in the coming academic year.

NB: If you have had corona, you have to wait 8 weeks before you can be vaccinated.
