We are looking for a Student Ambassador, Student Information Officers and Unibuddies for the Master Crisis and Security Management (CSM).

Job Description

As a Student Information Officer, you will join the Student Ambassador & Student Information Offciers team of MSc Crisis and Security Management. 

You provide information about the programme and student life during the Master Open Days. You are in that role a representative of the programme and try to boost enthusiasm among potential students for both the programme and Leiden University. 

You can expand your tasks with a job as a Unibuddy. UniBuddy is an online platform on the Leiden University website that makes communication between prospective and current students easy. Prospective students get information from current students and a student's perspective on what studying at Leiden University really looks like.

As a Student Information Officer and as an Unibuddy, you work for the Leiden University Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs and with the Institute for Security and Global Affairs. You are also in close contact with the student ambassador, the other Student Information Officers, the Communications Departments of Leiden University and the study coordinator of the Bachelor of Crisis and Security Management. 

Your profile

We are looking for students from the Crisis and Security Management Master's programme with the following profile:

  • Enthusiastic about the degree programme;
  • Good social and communication skills;
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), Dutch is a big plus;
  • Feel comfortable speaking in front of a large audience;
  • Organisational talent;
  • Sense of responsibility;
  • Open and active attitude;
  • Independent;
  • Creative with a critical eye.

Term of employment

We are looking for a student who can start in October 2021, who is available for at least till the end of September '22. 

You will get compensated financially for each activity you participated in via the job agency Jobmotion.
