Save the date: midterm review on 19 January 2022
Do we train our students to the satisfaction of their future employers? How do we view our education after the pandemic? Does the outside world see us the way we want it to see us? These and other questions will be discussed during the midterm review meeting of our legal programmes.
The faculty board hereby cordially invites you to the midterm review meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. The meeting is development-oriented, has the form of a symposium and is the strategic moment between the two rounds of accreditation of our legal programmes.
The central theme of the midterm review is Perspective. We ask ourselves, through a series of lectures and dialogue sessions, how our educational programmes are being assessed and appreciated, from different vantage points, and how this relates to our own vision of the programmes. Both Dutch-speaking and English-speaking colleagues are most welcome to attend. No matter what your position in our faculty community is, your participation and perspective can greatly enrich this meeting.
The symposium will be attended by a review committee, which will participate, observe and ultimately issue advice. The members of the review committee are: Ronald Janse (Dean OU), Harriët Schelhaas (Education Dean EUR), Bald de Vries (Programme Director UU) and Jan-Willem Prakke (member of the Faculty Advisory Board).
This message is a ‘Save the Date’. The board would like to ask you to block the hours between 10:00 – 18:30 in your calendars on the aforementioned date. We will provide you with the final programme of the meeting by December 3rd at the latest. We look forward to seeing you on January 19!
