Caesar Exhibit 15 - 17 December 2021
The Caesar exhibit is a series of photographs taken by a former Syrian military photographer, pseudonym 'Caesar', which document the crimes of the Assad regime in graphic detail. Such photographs testify to the extreme lengths of brutality to which the Assad regime has gone to eliminate popular discontent.
The exhibit contains 32 of those photographs which will be displayed 15 - 17 December 2021 at Wijnhaven. The Exhibit is accompanied by a streaming of the documentary 'For Sama' - which tells the story of Waad al-Kateab's life through five years of the uprising in Aleppo, Syria - on Thursday 16 December, 17:00 hrs in room 2.01 at Wijnhaven.
