Development phase 2A: 4 - 15 April nuisance due to work activities

31 March 2022

The construction of the next phase of the Gorlaeus Building is in full progress. The walls and the floor of the basement of the building are almost finished and in April the construction of the ground floor will start. This requires the removal of the sheet piles. This will be carried out in the period from 4 to 15 April 2022.

What is going to happen?

The sheet piles, which were installed to make the basement of phase 2A, will be removed in a way that causes vibrations. This may cause noise and/or vibration nuisance in the Gorlaeus Building and the LMUY. The work will take place from 4 to 15 April from Monday to Friday from 3 to 11 pm.
