Take part in the well-being student pool!

13 April 2022

Are you a student at Leiden University, do you have no difficulty expressing your opinions, are you available for about 2 hours per month and would you like to earn some extra money while helping your university become a better place?

The student well-being team is looking for you!

Leiden University has a student well-being team which aims to improve the well-being of our students. As student well-being is central to this programme, it is essential that we regularly ask students for input and feedback. We are currently looking for students to participate in our student pool. Would you like to take part?

What does participation in the student-pool mean?

  • As part of the student pool, you will regularly be invited to attend meetings. You are always free to decide which meetings you will or won’t attend.
  • During these sessions, project leaders will request and test ideas or scenarios and hold brainstorming sessions. No preparation is required and you don't need to have previoulsy had contact with the student well-being team.
  • The student well-being team focuses on various types of programmes, projects and activities. You can expect to attend meetings on topics such as student activities, access to support and designing plans of action.
  • If you participate in two or more meetings, you will receive a volunteer's payment at the end of the year in relation to your contributions. Payment is arranged via a volunteer contract and can amount to max €300. In similar pools last year the average payment was €20 per session.

Are you interested? That's great! Sign up here now.

NB: Both Dutch and English speaking students can participate.
