Apply now for the Master Honours Class and Impact Challenges in the 1st semester!
Motivated master’s students can apply until 25 September for an interdisciplinary Master Honours Class or an Impact Challenge. This gives students the opportunity to participate in an in-depth, extracurricular course.
About the education
Master Honours Classes are interdisciplinary courses focused on complex scientific and societal themes. Students will not only delve into theory, but they will also tackle a social case study.
Impact Challenges are extracurricular, project-based courses in which students work on a current problem of an external partner, making an impact on a real-world issue.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate and have your Master Honours Class or Impact Challenge mentioned on your diploma supplement as an extra-curricular course.
Classes on offer
In the first semester of 2022-2023 we offer one Master Honours Class and two Impact Challenges:
- Circular Economy: from Challenge to Opportunity (10 EC)
- Impact Challenge KPN: Building a Bridge between Tech and Business (10 EC)
- Impact Challenge KPN: Increasing the Loyalty of our Business to Business (B2B) Customer
You can apply if you are motivated to attend an extracurricular course and are enrolled as master’s student at Leiden University. Places are limited to preserve the small-scale nature of the classes. The application deadline is Sunday 25 September 2022, 23.59 hrs.
