Nominate your favourite teacher for the 2023 Leiden Teaching Prize: deadline 10 April
Every year the student think tank Leiden University Student platform (LUS) presents the LUS Teaching Prize for the best teacher of the year. This special award is given to the lecturer who is considered to be the most inspiring teacher in giving their classes. Until 10 April 2023, you can nominate your favourite lecturer for the 2023 Leiden University Teaching Prize.
Nominate your favourite teacher together
You can nominate your favourite teacher via the form linked below. Note: you have to fill out the form together with two fellow students. This means you nominate a teacher on behalf of three students.
At the Opening of the Academic year, the 2022 LUS Teaching Prize was awarded to Emily Strange, a moving teacher of sustainable development and conservation biology. The 2021 winner was Ayo Adedokun, who handles difficult topics of conflict and development in Africa with care, even in the context of online and hybrid learning.
