  • Supervising the student ambassador team for recruitment activities
  • Planning and executing the logistics for the school visits within The Netherlands
  • Coordinating LUC101 & Student for a Day

The ideal candidate is a graduate from LUC who is either purusing a master's degree in the academic year 2023-2024, or looking for a part time job after graduation to combine with other pursuits. Candidates with knowledge and command of the Dutch language are preferred.

You will work a lot with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc) and Canva, so prior knowledge of this software is preferred. In this role, you will be asked to give presentations from time to time, and to be the representative of LUC. Creating content and keeping track of social media is part of this position, so keep in mind that you will be using quite a lot of social media during this job. You will be the assistant of the recruitment, events, and communications officers, so there will be multiple smaller tasks that you will have to keep track of, and quite a few ad-hoc tasks. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about LUC, flexible, enthusiastic about completing a range of different tasks and well-organized.

You will be hired for one full academic year. The start date is August 7, 2023 and the contract ends after Intro week in the summer of 2024; August 30, 2024. This function is for 0.5 FTE (18 hours per week), distributed over the week. An expansion of this contract up to 0.7 FTE is negotiable. These are flexible and can be arranged based on the requirements and wishes of the Recruitment and Communications office, and the academic schedule of the student assistant. In the Recruitment seasons (October - March) and around events such as graduation and introduction week the number of hours may be longer than stipulated above. These hours will then be counted as overtime and can be compensated in the other months throughout the year.

The student assistant will work in the DREAM team (Development, Recruitment, Events, Admissions and Marketing), under the supervision of the Recruitment, Communication and Events officers.

Students with a non-EU nationality are also welcome to apply (however the maximum number of hours will be 16), keeping in mind that the work permit can take up to 6 weeks. All applicants must have a valid Dutch health insurance.

The salary for this position is in scale SA4 and ranges from €14,95 - €15,68 per hour.
