Leiden University is part of Una Europa. Want to participate in this international alliance of 11 European Universities and help the Una Europa community to take root at Leiden University? Here's your opportunity!

Our University can select and fund three students — bachelor’s or master’s — to join the fourth Una Europa Student Congress in Helsinki from 14-17 November 2023.  If selected for this congress, you will dive into the topic of storytelling, and how to use stories to build strong and inclusive communities for all. You won't do this alone, of course. Students from all Una Europa partner universities are coming to Finland.

Reasons to participate

After the Congress, you’ll keep the Una Europa spirit going by helping us to kickstart a Local Student Taskforce here at Leiden University. Not sure whether to apply? Here are three reasons why you should.

1. Join in lively exchanges. We will collectively reflect on what it means to be living in Europe and to be European, and on how everyone can participate and be part of our joint story, regardless of nationality and place of birth.
2. Broaden your network. At the congress you'll connect with other Una Europa students from Berlin, Bologna, Dublin, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Kraków, Leuven, Madrid, Paris and Zurich.
3. Add valuable experience to your CV. Your voice will influence the work of Una Europa, helping us to shape more inclusive and open communities for all students and employees.
