Job Vacancy: Student Information Officers BSc Security Studies

We are expanding the team of Student Information Officers for the Bachelor’s programme in Security Studies!

Description

As a Student Information Officer, you will join the Student Ambassador & Student Information Officers team of the BSc Security Studies, currently consisting of 3 Student Ambassador and 15 Student Information Officers. You provide information about the programme and student life during Experience Days, Open Days, student-for-a-day events and visits to high schools. You are in that role a representative of the programme and try to boost enthusiasm among potential students and their parents for both the programme and Leiden University.

As a Student Information Officer, you work for the Leiden University, the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs and with the Institute for Security and Global Affairs. You are also in close contact with the student ambassador, the other student information officers, the communication departments of Leiden University and the study coordinator of the Bachelor of Security Studies.

Your profile

We are looking for first year students from the Bsc Security Studies with the following profile:

  • Enthusiastic about the degree programme;
  • Good social and communication skills;
  • Reliable
  • Sense of responsibility;
  • Groomed appearance;
  • Open and active attitude;
  • Approachable to school children and their parents.

We specifically welcome applications from international students!

Term of employment

We are looking for a student who can start 1 February 2024 , who is available for at least one year and particularly during our recruitment activities most of them taking place on Saturdays.

You will get compensated financially for each activity you participated in.
