Vacancy: Student Assistant skills pathways International Studies

BA International Studies is looking for a student assistant to collaborate in a project concerning skills pathways.

A skills pathway has to to with how certain skills are taught and learned over the course of several years. Do the kinds of skills that are learned and taught, and the way they are taught and learned in one semester match how that is done in the following? Is what is being taught and learned in one course consistent with what is being taught other courses in the curriculum?

These are the kinds of issues the student assistant will be dealing with in this project. You will be hired for 0.2 FTE (1 day/week) for the period from February 1 to June 30.

Job description

  • Take note of assignments and trained skills per course;
  • Evaluate consistency of trained skills throughout the programme (skills pathways);
  • Map gaps in trained skills;
  • Check consistency of trained skills with learning goals of the BA International Studies curriculum;

Profile

The candidate we are looking for:

  • can work independently;
  • is able to meet deadlines;
  • has strong analytical skills;
  • is precise and punctual;
  • can communicate in a correct way with academic staff;
  • follows up on correspondence in a precise manner.
