Student Support Groups, for group contact
Student Support Groups offer a safe, confidential space for learning, sharing, and connecting with others. Join one of our groups and engage in guided conversations based on your experiences, alongside fellow students and a student-guide. Sessions take place once a week, for a period of six consecutive weeks.
When do they take place?
Each Support Group consists of a series of meetings and is offered several times a year. It is important to register before the deadline. The deadlines and dates will be updated on this page as soon as a new registration round opens. Please register on time.

In the Well-being Support Group you connect with fellow students, share experiences, work on your goals, talk about emotions and much more. Well-being Support Groups offer a safe and confidential environment in which you can meet fellow students and share your experiences.

The six weekly sessions offer a confidential environment where students with a disability and/or a chronic illness can discuss their challenges, celebrate their successes, and develop valuable skills and insights. Whether you’re seeking community, advice, or simply a listening ear, the Helping Hand Support Group is here to remind you that you are not alone in your journey.

Students in this age group can face various challenges. For example, you may need to combine additional responsibilities with your studies and finding an internship might prove to be more tricky. The 30+ Student Support Group allows you to meet fellow students and connect with them over shared experiences.

Kickstart your career in six weeks! In this Support Group you cooperate with other students or recent graduates who – like you – are working on their first steps towards the job market. Guided by both a trained student guide and a career adviser, you discuss and work on an array of topics relevant to your career orientation process. What are your qualities? How do you find – and get – the right job for you? This group combines both expertise and support from peers to make sure you navigate this challenging period in the best way possible.
The Career Kickstart Support Group is organised in cooperation with the Career Services.

This Student Support Group is designed to support you at any stage of your thesis journey, whether you’re just starting or close to the finish line. In each session, we’ll set individual weekly goals to help keep everyone accountable, creating a space to celebrate successes, discuss challenges, and offer/receive feedback.
The discussions will focus on universal aspects of the thesis process, such as stress and time management, dealing with procrastination, managing feedback, addressing perfectionism and the fear of failure and/or other subjects surrounding the thesis writing process.

This Student Support Group is for students with AD(H)D - diagnosed (or undiagnosed) - who are looking for support and relatable contact with peers. In this group, you can share experiences, offer and receive advice and learn more about coping with AD(H)D. You will follow a series of discussion topics covering matters such as relationships, regulating emotions and planning.

This group is designed for PhD candidates who are diagnosed (or undiagnosed) with AD(H)D and who seek a supportive community of peers who can relate to their experiences. Within this group, participants can exchange personal insights, offer and receive advice. You gain valuable coping strategies for managing AD(H)D-related challenges and discuss issues related to your experience as a PhD-candidate.

Study Groups provide a supportive space to stay focused and motivated in your studies. Join a group to connect with fellow students, check in with each other, and keep each other on track – all under the guidance of a student-volunteer.
Each session start with setting your own study goals, which you can discuss with the group and the volunteer. Once you begin working, you can make use of noise-cancelling headphones and desk dividers, and you’re welcome to hand your phone to the volunteer to help you stay focused. The sessions ends with a short reflection on your progress and how the session went.
