Elementary school kids do one-day internship at FSW catering
On Friday, May 24, pupils from group 8 of elementary school De Viersprong from Leiden will have the opportunity to do a one-day internship at FSW. For this, the university catering department is working together with JINC, an organization that strives for equal opportunities for every child, regardless of their background. A mission to which we are happy to contribute. JINC's programs strengthen children's connection with society and offer employers an inspiring experience.
The internship takes place between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm. The pupils will roll up their sleeves and gain (work) experience within catering. The morning is completed in an interactive way and the children are introduced to the university, the work that is done, and the people who work there. We hope for many inspiring encounters!
