About Yvonne Lammers-Keijsers
These months, Gül Aktürk's teaching tasks will be carried out by Yvonne Lammers-Keijsers, an old acquaintance of our Faculty. Yvonne works as a Museum Manager in the preHistorisch Dorp in Eindhoven, an archaeological open-air museum. She has been involved in living history, experimental archeology and public outreach for more than 30 years.
Yvonne obtained a Master's degree in Pre- and Protohistory and a Master's degree in Theoretical Archeology in Leiden and obtained her PhD on experimental archaeological trace research in the Caribbean at Archaeological Sciences. After her PhD, she focused on the translation of scientific data to a large audience in her company Echo information design, within which she organised various exhibitions, teaching programs and publications. In recent years she has focused mainly on training young people within the museum practice, including students from the Faculty and Saxion. Do you want to meet her?
