Annual abandoned bicycle campaign in our bicycle parking facilities
Dear staff and students,
We would like to inform you about the annual abandoned bicycle campaign in our bicycle parking facilities.
In July, we will begin labeling bicycles that have been left in the parking areas for an extended period and are suspected of no longer having an owner. If your bicycle receives a label, you can remove it to indicate that the bicycle is still in use and that you are the owner.
In October, all bicycles that still have a label will be moved to the back section of the staff bicycle parking area. If your bicycle has been relocated during this process, you can report to the reception desk.
Starting in November, any unclaimed bicycles will be handed over to EasyFiets. The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSW) collaborates with EasyFiets as part of its commitment to sustainable mobility. This partnership gives abandoned bicycles a second life.
