Countdown to LAWLANDS: sneak preview
Just one week to go now! LAWLANDS for staff and students kicks off on Thursday 19 June. We have a big, bold and beautiful programme, packed with live acts, DJs, and a spectacular grand finale before rounding the party off at 22.00!
We start at 15.00 with the Big Faculty Dictation in the Lorentz Lecture Hall (A1.44). The LAWLANDS outdoor site will be open from 15.30. The site map provides a sneak preview of what you can expect.
Get your QR code scanned (which you were sent by email after signing up) at the entrance on the left-hand side of the building (see site map). You’ll be given a special LAWLANDS wristband and tokens for drinks and food.
Note: The Steenschuur will be closed off on 19 June. You can only enter the LAWLANDS site from the Rapenburg side (see site map). The normal entrance to the KOG building will also be closed off from 14.00! If you want to go to LAWLANDS (or go home) from inside the KOG building, please use the exit between the Dean’s office and the Global Lounge.
The organisers are going full steam to get everything ready on time. This includes removing the bike racks at the front of the KOG building on Tuesday 17 June. You’ll have to park your bike at the alternative spaces that will be signposted.
