Renovations University Library in July – August
Various construction works will be carried out in the University Library from Monday 30 June to Friday 29 August. These works are part of a large-scale renovation that will last until February 2026. Both transparent domes, the skylight between the two halls and the air-conditioning and heating systems will be replaced. This will allow the University Library to be cooled and heated more sustainably in the future. The activities will impact the use of our facilities in several ways.
Works
In the period July – August, two scaffoldings will be constructed in the Noordhal and Zuidhal to replace both the transparent domes. In addition, the air conditioning in the southern wing of the building will be replaced.
