From 2 June to 31 October 2025, roadworks will take place on the Hartlijn at Leiden Bio Science Park. The Hartlijn connects key locations within the park. The intersection Einsteinweg – Zernikedreef – Trambaan will be reconstructed.

Timeline and disruption

2 t/m 20 June

• Einsteinweg will be closed between J.H. Oortweg and the Trambaan

• Cars and trucks will be diverted via Zernikedreef and Plesmanlaan.

• Cyclists should use Archimedesweg.

• Buses will follow an adjusted route.

23 t/m 27 June

• No roadworks. The intersection will be open to all traffic.

30 June t/m 31 Octobre

• The intersection will be completely closed.

• Traffic diversions will be in place for all traffic.

• Please avoid loading/unloading on Archimedesweg during rush hours.
