Wassenaarseweg closed from 27 September to 7 October
From 27 September until 7 October, access to the faculty via the Wassenaarseweg will be more limited than usual. The reason: trailers for the 3 October Festival in Leiden will be temporarily stationed on this section of the road.
Stationing of trailers
The trailers will be placed on the Wassenaarseweg, between the Sylviusweg and the Niels Bohrweg. Steel road plates will be laid between the cycle path and the carriageway to allow for their placement. These plates are expected to be removed by 7 October at the latest.
Access to Gorlaeus Building car park and logistics centre
The underground car park of the Gorlaeus Building and the logistics centre will remain accessible, but only via the Niels Bohrweg. The barriers at the car park next to the former Gorlaeus Faculty Office will remain open during this period. Cyclists will be diverted via the Einsteinweg and the Niels Bohrweg.
Traffic measures
The closure will be in effect from 27 September to 7 October. The municipality will place diversion signs and deploy traffic controllers. They will be present day and night to make the changed traffic situation visible and to ensure safety.
