On Monday 13 October, between 8.00 and 13.00, (hoisting) work will take place in the Gorlaeus Building. During this time, an optical table will be transported using a small crane.

The work will take place on the ground floor and first floor, between the D and E wings. The area will be clearly cordoned off to ensure the work can be carried out safely.

Please note: temporary closure of the area
During the work, there will be a period when both the ground floor and first floor between the D and E wings will be completely closed off. Do you need to go from the front of the building to the E or G wing during this time? Please use another, higher floor and then go back down using the lift or stairs. The staircase near the E wing, between the ground and first floor, will not be accessible during the work.
