External access to the university network temporarily restricted

Due to a detected vulnerability in the university network, we are required to take temporary preventive measures. At this time, we have no indications that there has been any breach of the university’s network.

However, this does mean that as of now, external access to the university network will be temporarily restricted.

In practical terms, this means that portals (such as Topdesk and the University Library website) and several other parts of the university website will not be accessible from outside the university network. They will, however, remain accessible via the university’s Wi-Fi network or through eduVPN.

We are working on solutions to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Further information will follow over the course of the weekend. Please also keep an eye on the internal staff and student websites for updates.
