Join our Unibuddy team and help prospective students!

14 November 2025

Are you a master’s student and would you like to share your enthusiasm for your programme with prospective students? Join our Unibuddy team!

As a Unibuddy, you’ll receive questions from (prospective) students about your degree programme via the Unibuddy app. Perhaps questions about the programme content, your experiences, practical tips, career opportunities and what it's like studying and living in Leiden or The Hague.

Timewise, it’ll take around 5 to 10 minutes a week depending on the size of your master’s: the more popular a programme is, the more questions you’ll receive.

Being a Unibuddy is a great way to help prospective students choose a master’s, develop your own communication skills, and broaden your network within the university.

Important: being a Unibuddy is done on a voluntary basis, without payment. As thanks for your efforts, you’ll receive a small gift. If it turns out that being a Unibuddy isn’t for you, you can deregister at any moment.
