Current standings NSE faculty competition: SV LIFE takes the lead!

The NSE has been running for two weeks, and already 9.20% of FWN students have filled in the survey. That’s above the university average – but we’re still a long way from our 40% goal!

Your feedback is really valuable for your study programme, showing where there’s room for improvement. It also helps future students make informed choices about their studies, using reliable and representative information about our university.

Action week kicks off soon

On Monday 9 February, the NSE action week starts! During the week, any student who has completed the survey can pick up a Science Tony’s Chocolonely bar from their student association. Just click the NSE link in your Umail to show you’ve done it.

A great additional element is that Leiden University will donate €0.25 for each completed survey to the team led by Laura Nooteboom. They are researching how peer experts can support fellow students and provide perspective on complex issues such as trauma, eating disorders, depression, and self-harm.

Student association competition

The competition between the student associations has also begun. The top three associations with the highest response rates will receive a cash prize to organise an activity. The current standings are as follows:

Explanation of results per programme

For the results per programme, bachelor’s and master’s study programme's within the same field have been combined. For Computer Science (BSc), the specialisations within both the bachelor’s and master’s – Computer Science, ICT in Business, and Media Technology – have also been grouped together. For Mathematics, the results from the master’s programme in Statistical Science have also been included.
