New LAK courses: registration opens 22 January
From Thursday 22 January you can register for the new selection of LAK creative courses. In spring 2026, students, staff (and the general public) can take part in courses and workshops with a focus on creativity, meeting people and personal development.

From photography to theatre: something for everyone
The LAK offers courses from painting and urban sketching, to modern dance, theatre and creative writing. The range is varied and courses are open to all levels. Some courses are offered in English.
Performing arts courses culminate in a final show at a specially hired theatre, in which you can show your work to the public.
As well as allowing you to develop new skills, LAK courses offer the opportunity to meet new people. You will be working alongside people who share the same interests and passions.
Locations
Most courses take place in the Lipsius building in Leiden.
