The results of the 2026 University Elections are in. Who will be representing us?

Between 18 and 21 May 2026, students cast their votes for the student section of the Faculty Council Humanities and the student section of the University Council. For the Faculty Council student section, 1,003 students (14.4%) voted. The students who will represent our faculty in the coming year are:

4. Aliy Alam (DSP-SC)
5. Daniel van Huizen (DSP-SC)
6. Abdallah Abu Ayyash (Leiden The Hague Coalition of Students)
7. Jackie Smit (Leiden The Hague Coalition of Students)
8. Pim Lammers (Liberale Studentenpartij)
9. Anil Boersma (Partij Tegen de Student)
