Demolition works old sports centre USC: crushing of rubble on 18, 19 and 20 August
The demolition of the old sports centre (USC) is well underway. The large-scale demolition works will begin in the coming period.
The demolition will produce a large amount of (concrete) rubble. This rubble will be crushed on site into smaller rubble, so that it can be removed. The crushing process will require a machine to be in operation for an extended period, which may cause noise disturbance.
Schedule
Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August, between 09.00 and 17.00 hrs.
The works are expected to take approximately two days, with a possible extension into a third day.
