Temporary access to limited personal data
Due to a technical incident, the personal data of employees and students could temporarily be accessed by more people than intended. The data in question was only the first name and surname of employees, and the first name, surname and student number of students. The incident has since been resolved. The Security Operations Centre (SOC) is actively monitoring the situation. At this time, we have no indication that the data was viewed or misused on a large scale. For employees, only the first name and surname. For students, only the first name, surname and student number.
Was any sensitive data involved?
No. No addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, financial details, passwords or exceptional personal data were involved in the incident.
How was the incident discovered?
The incident was detected via our regular security and monitoring processes. Immediately upon discovery, steps were taken to resolve the situation and further investigation was conducted.
What steps have been taken?
As soon as the incident was detected, access was blocked and further investigation was conducted. Additional monitoring has also been implemented. The Security Operations Center (SOC) is actively monitoring for potential anomalies and signs of misuse.
Has the data been misused?
At this time, we have no indication that the data has been accessed or misused on a large scale.
