Visiting the EU institutions in Brussels
The Career Service Humanities organizes a work visit to the European Union (EU) in Brussel for Humanities students. The session will take place on Friday, 14 November between 10:30h and 17:30h.

*Note that the speakers work in a political and dynamic environment. It could happen that one of them needs to be somewhere else last minute.
Motivation and registration
To participate, we would like you to write a short motivation (max. 150 words), which you can fill in on the registration form. State what expectations you have for this working visit, and why you might want to work for the EU. Also think about a career-oriented question for one (or more) of the speakers about their work, the EU environment etc.
Please note! There is room for a maximum of 50 students from the Faculty of Humanities.
Registration deadline: 21 September 2025
You will be notified by 26 September 2025 the latest whether you have been selected.
Subsidy
We will be happy to assist you with the travel costs. You can submit these afterwards up to a maximum of € 20 with receipts/proof of travel costs.
Tip: Book your tickets in advance to Brussels with train/ Flixbus (once you have been selected)
After registration
You will be notified by 26 September 2025 at the latest whether you have been selected. This enables you to make travel arrangements on time. After selection we'll also ask you for your passport/ID details. All passport holders are welcome to participate. Kindly be aware that if you wish to work for EU institutions, you need to have an EU passport/ID-card. Details regarding the logistics of the work visit, such as the exact location, will be shared in October 2025.
