Basis songwriting - an online course | English spoken

No previous experience in songwriting is required except for a passion for songwriting. Basic knowledge of any instrument like piano or guitar can be useful.
The Introduction to Songwriting course offers techniques on the craft of writing songs and includes an introductory breakdown and analysis of songwriting content, style, genre, song structure, harmony, melody, and lyrics. This course provides an introduction to a song form, basic music theory, aided by weekly set tasks and feedback to help you exercise these skills.

The lessons are given in ZOOM.
For the online lessons you will need:
- a device with a camera and microphone (internal computer microphone would be sufficient).
- music instrument when possible (piano, guitar, ukelele, etc..)
* singing skills always welcome
A note on participation: Enhancing music skills requires practical and active participation. As this is an interactive, group class all students will be required to have their videos turned on.

Aleksandra Popovska’s career spans two decades and several countries; she is known internationally as a singer, voice teacher, composer, and community choir's leader. Her work has taken her to over fifteen countries collaborating and inspiring many students and artists. She was trained in various music disciplines (voice, a composition for media, music education, and music production) in The Netherlands, UK and Macedonia.
She had more then hundred of performances on various podia around the world (to name a few: Rotterdam Opera Festival, Neuköllner Oper-Berlin, Macedonian National Opera & Ballet, etc.).
Aleksandra participated in recordings of over fifteen CDs in different music genres.
