What can you expect from the workshop?

After this workshop you can find literature like a pro with an efficient literature search  and an overview of your references. You will learn how to search for relevant literature by designing effective search queries and using advanced search engines. In addition, you will learn how to use a Reference Manager to your advantage and maintain a clear overview during your literature search. During the workshop there will be time to practice with your strategy and ask questions. When attending, you need to have installed a fully functional Reference Manager, like Zotero and be able to add papers. Facing difficulties with Zotero? See the walk-in below.

For students of the Faculty of Science. This workshop is suitable for both bachelor and master students that are currently conducting a literature review. 

What should I bring to the workshop?

During this workshop you will get hands-on tips and tricks for your literature search and manage your research papers and references. To get the most out of this workshop, please bring the following: 

• Your laptop with Zotero (or a comparable Reference Manager) installed, click here to learn how to install this.

• Your preliminary research question(s) 
• Keywords you currently use to search for literature 
• Any specific questions related to searching and referencing
