What can you expect from the workshop?

In this workshop you will learn to recognise and distinguish different types of skills in job advertisements. Additionally, you will become more aware of your own employability skills and will practice giving examples of your skills during a job interview.

After the workshop you will receive the workshop materials.

What are employability skills?

Employability skills are your non-specialist skills, the skills that you will benefit from in any type of job. Employers often look for certain transferable skills in their employees, like communication or problem solving skills, in addition to technical insight and professional knowledge. When you are in the process of applying for an internship or job, it is important that you can clearly articulate your main skills to enhance your employability.

For whom?

For students of the Faculty of Science. This workshop is suitable for both bachelor and master students.
